Experience/achievements

David joined Edmund Gibbs in 1993 becoming a partner in 2003. He has built up a client portfolio from new client opportunities and referrals.

Dealing with primarily owner managed businesses to provide statutory compliance services for both accounts and tax, business consultancy is David’s real passion and his clients appreciate his hands-on advice and insight into their figures which enable their businesses to grow, become more profitable and ultimately more rewarding.

Over the last 5 years David has worked with a number of farming clients, gaining invaluable experience in this niche sector and expanding his knowledge to incorporate a thorough working knowledge of both the specialist accountancy and taxation requirements for these clients.

David has a vast network of business contacts within all aspects of the professional community and believes that this network enables him to truly be a ‘Trusted Advisor’ to his clients.

David also holds an audit practising certificate and is fully qualified to act as an audit RI.

Interests

In his spare time David follows Manchester United although this is becoming more difficult of late! He is also a frustrated Peter Schmeichel and still graces the 5-aside football pitch with his cat-like goal-keeping skills
